Love the Summertime Wheat! After spending 2 1/2 years in Germany I have come to love German Hefeweizen style beers. It's practically all I'll drink.

Love the Hefe! How about moving Summertime Wheat to the later months, make Blind Salamander a full time brew, and maybe work a citrusy beer for the late spring early summer?

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Hefeweizens and I can't wait to have my first Summertime Wheat of the season. Are we expecting to see it in stores soon with the roof fiasco?

Did the roof collapse effect the availability of summertime wheat this year?

Why is this amazing beer only available May-June? Should be April through October for here in Texas!

Need a great brew for the BBQ or fish fry? This is the one!! This brew poured up a hazy, dark golden-colored body with a sporty two-fingered head with good retention and lacing effects. Aromas of lemon-grass, oranges, bananas. Flavors of the same and very well balanced. The body is medium-light and very easy to drink with no strong aftertaste; just a nice, clean finish. Pair this up with some smoked chicken or spicy grilled fish or shrimp!!

This beer is ridiculously good. I'm not sure if I'm going to drink anything else this summer.

I tried Rahr Summertime Wheat for the first time on tap at The Ginger Man in Plano. I am not a big wheat beer fan but loved the clove notes in this beer. My wife, a traditional wine drinker, even had to have a pint. Great easy-drinking summer beer. I went out and bought a case for the pool! You beers keep getting better...Keep up the great work guys!

Great beer. Less wheaty than many Hefeweizens. sense that it may have a higher alcohol content?

Available in May & June only? This is my favorite Rahr Brew! June is barely the beginning of Summertime. If available year round it's all I would drink.

The Rarh Summertime Wheat is the best Hefeweizen I've had outside of Germany. Only downside is you can only get it two months out of the year. Don't know why they torment me so. Anyone know if you can get it on tap anywhere?

Just as J. Hewett observed, I acquired a taste for wheat-beer in Germany. It was hot, I was thirsty and so I had a tall, wheat-beer in Kulmbach, Germany and I've enjoyed them ever since. The Rahr Hefeweizen is absolutely wonderful, probably better than the German brews, so you don't have to go across the pond for one!
